ABOUT

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Spencer Green, the former proprietor of Standard Gravel Company in Louisiana, which stood as the sister company to Green Brother Gravel company. Over a span of 22 years, I led Standard Gravel, catering primarily to the New Orleans, Hattiesburg, and Gulf Coast markets, employing 75 individuals while overseeing the operation of seven dredges in South Louisiana and Mississippi.

In 2019, I transitioned the ownership of Standard Gravel to Southern Aggregates, a division of ARCOSA, where I continued my tenure until approximately a year ago. With a background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in the aggregate industry, I have ventured into importing aggregate equipment and consumables for the past eight years.

Having previously imported nearly $1,000,000 worth of pumps and consumables annually for internal consumption at Standard Gravel, I am now extending these products and import services to aggregate producers seeking additional supply chain options and a diverse range of products at highly competitive pricing.

Presently, I facilitate the importation of container load quantities or larger, providing direct delivery to customers equipped to handle such volume, resulting in substantial cost savings ranging from favorable to exceptional. My proficiency extends to handling all logistical aspects, import-related matters, bonding, and more, leaving the customer with the sole task of promptly unloading the container upon its arrival at the designated job site.

Enclosed, you'll find a quote encompassing items I have consistently imported over the years, all of which boast high quality, many akin to items typically sourced from renowned vendors. Moreover, I'm rapidly expanding my product portfolio, having already successfully sold an imported 36" Twin Sand Screw using components from GATOR brand and Eagle Ironworks style shoes, with all parts readily available in the USA. This particular Sand Screw, delivered to a customer's yard in Houston TX, was priced at $61,000.

My forte lies in importing pumps, with a particular focus on dredge or slurry pumps, along with replacement hard iron wear parts that not only exhibit superior quality but are significantly more cost-effective compared to domestic suppliers. The savings I offer to clients are indeed substantial, backed by almost a decade of personal experience with these units.

While certain products can be consolidated within the same container, considerations such as manufacturers' locations influence the feasibility of such packaging. Notably, heavier items like pumps, wear parts, castings, and conveyor belting can sometimes lead to weight capacity limitations. However, in instances where customers are geographically proximate, I may combine multiple orders within the same container for efficiency.

My inventory spans a wide array of products beyond what is listed, encompassing slurry pumps, standard water pumps, dredge hoses, conveyor belting, urethane screens, conveyor rollers/pulleys, marine transmissions, gearboxes, bearings, log washer/sand screw/agg washer parts, custom foundry parts in Hi Chrome A05, and cast steel/iron. Customization services for replicating existing parts or creating bespoke patterns are also available, ensuring a tailored approach to meet unique needs.

Furthermore, I am actively engaged in collaborations with a foundry for custom castings and a manufacturer producing TRIO and GATOR washing and screening equipment replicas, incorporating OEM gearboxes, rear bearing assemblies, and wear parts. An option to substitute the "Eagle Look" gearbox with standard DODGE TXT style gearboxes for enhanced parts availability is also in progress.

At Green Resource Management, LLC, my commitment revolves around sourcing and delivering a comprehensive range of products and services to cater to diverse industry requirements. I am also in the process of expanding services to include roofing materials, thereby broadening the scope of offerings beyond aggregate-related items.
